This must be a Demon Wolf. 

Normal Wolves don't eat Leaf Headed Creatures, 

just Demon Wolves eat Leaf Headed Creatures. 

Normal Wolves eat Herbivorous Mammals. 

The Demon Monster eat Leaf Headed Creatures, baby Animals, young Leaf Headed Creatures, 

the insectivorous Creature Child like Sergei, and Human Children. 

and Demon Wolves eat Leaf Headed Creatures, Animals and People. 

These Demon Wolves would give Everyone Nightmares.

I can imagine Sergei would scare the Demon Wolves away

by showing them his sharp Teeth and let out a high pitched Roar 

like the one in the Character Designs.
